Bellaria - Brunello di Montalcino 'Bellaria' 2017

The Bellaria – Brunello di Montalcino 'Bellaria’ 2017 is a beautiful deep ruby red colour, with hints of garnet when held up to the light. It has a deliciously intense nose filled with aromas of ripe dark cherries, plums and dried herbs, with notes of leather and tobacco as hints of oak drift in. On the palate it is a full-bodied wine that is well balanced and smooth, with fine tannins and subtle acidity that give it amazing complexity. Flavour wise there are more juicy dark fruit notes that mix perfectly with the velvety texture, along with spice and tobacco. A wonderful wine that can be enjoyed now or aged further, it pairs well with roasted meats and strong cheeses.
