Le Colture - Valdobbiadene Spumante DOCG Superiore di Cartizze

Superiore di Cartizze is a sub-denomination that concerns a very restricted area of vineyards located in the township of Valdobbiadene and situated among the steepest hills of S. Stefano and Saccol. A tiny amphiteatre built of marl, sandstone and clay soil that has lead to Glera grapes achieving full maturation and which, moreover, guarantees a concentration of unusual aromas. A Spumante, whilst maintaining the freshness of Prosecco, it becomes sweeter, encapsulating an abundance of perfumes that call to mind the flavour of soft fruits like apricots and peaches, which then blend into a hint of orange flowers and roses.
A pale straw yellow in colour, a perlage minute and persistent, an intense aroma and sweet and fruity flavour. The grapes are harvested from mid-September until mid-October, slightly late.
