Etyssa - Cuvee No. 7 Extra Brut 2018

This brilliant Etyssa - Cuvee No. 7 Extra Brut 2018 from Trentino Alto-Adige is a stunning Metodo Classico comprising of 100% Chardonnay grapes. The colour of this wine is a vibrant yellow/gold with delicate bubbles. Aromas of dried apples, toasted brioche, white flowers and acacia honey tantalize the nose. When first sipped, it reveals a harmonious texture with intense flavours of orange rind, lemon vervain and roasted hazelnuts. It's broad and structured body is balanced by a fine acidity that carries through to the finish in classic Metodo Classico fashion. The structure and balance of this particular bottle make it ideal for dishes such as seared salmon or mussels in cream sauce. This would be a perfect accompaniment to any special occasion, but would also be an excellent alternative for aperitivo.
