Short Description:  This is an amazingly delicious Rosso Di Montalcino produced by Bellaria. Made of 100% Sangiovese grapes handpicked by father and son.

When you open a bottle of this Montalcino, your nose will be engulfed with beautiful perfumes and aromas of ripe fruit. Enjoy drinking this little beauty along friends at a table with cold cut meats, cheese and olives. Once you taste it, your palate will be filled with a rich and dense mouthful of red deliciousness from start to finish.

This Sangiovese is much more precise and finer than their bolder and riper predecessors.

Aroma:  For a Rosso di Montalcino, this is quite decadent on the nose with treacle, plum pie, tar and liquorice, as well as resin. Deep ruby red in colour.

Taste:  In the mouth, elegant, sell structured, with plenty of fresh berries on the finish.

Full-bodied and intense, hints of earthy foliage and ultra-fine tannins, with an underlying crispness and linear thread but there is a fine streak of acidity that really lifts this through the chewy tannins. A sappy finish. Drink now.

Grape:  Sangiovese 100%

Vinification & Ageing:  The Rosso di Montalcino DOC is fermented in steel tanks at a controlled temperature for 15 – 25 days, with repeated follage to obtain all possible components from the skins.

Ageing: Following fermentation and malolactic conversion, the Rosso di Montalcino is aged in small Slavonian and French oak casks for around 12 months.

Bottle Ageing:  3 months.

Alcohol:  13.50% Vol.

Pairing:  Pairs well with pasta dishes served with a meat sauce, roast veal and pork and fresh or semi-matured cheeses.
